Hunger Walk

One of our major fundraising events is the annual Hunger Walk, which is held in October.

In addition to raising monies for the Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center, this event aims to educate participants about hunger and homelessness in our community.

Each walker assumes the identity of a composite Soup Kitchen guest and tracks their character’s story through cards handed out at stations along the three mile route of the walk. Though the characters in the story cards are fictional, the problems they face are real.
