Funding
The Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that runs with an extremely lean staff of only two full-time employees, tightly managed overhead, and no government funding. We are fortunate in that much of the work of the organization is accomplished through the generosity of our member congregations, corporate sponsors, and individual volunteers and supporters.

Expenses
Being a well-run organization does not mean that we do not have ongoing financial needs. We need financial support to cover operating expenses (e.g., rent for the kitchen and dining facilities, trash removal, paper goods, insurance , and salaries) and to expand our services to better meet the changing needs of our guests. Donations of any size are both welcome and extremely valuable.
